SUMMER CAMP 2021

Grow Local South Texas offered two summer camp options in Summer 2021.

“VERY IMPORTANT KIDS” CAMP

In partnership with the Antonio E Garcia Arts & Education Center, we offered education in all natural food production as part of the “Very Important Kids” camp June 7- July 2, 2021. “VIK” included Grow Local’s activities as well as those of other organizations.

“COOK LOCAL” CAMP

Grow Local South Texas also presented its very own “Cook Local” camp at the Garcia Center in two sessions, July 5-9, OR July 12-16, 9am-noon. Ages 8-12. The camp focused on basic kitchen skills, fun & easy recipes, trying new foods and cooking locally!
