Garden of Grace at First United Methodist Church.

This garden is managed by Grow Local South Texas and is located behind First United Methodist Church (900 S. Shoreline Blvd) at the intersection of Buford St. and S. Water St. It features over 30 free community garden beds, fruit trees, a pergola with seating, and a composting system. Stop by during our open hours on Thursdays from 4:30-5:30 PM. Be sure to check our social media for community garden events like plant and seed swaps, as well as volunteer days!

As a community garden space on the grounds of The First United Methodist Church, these free gardening spots are a stepping stone for community members to grow healthy, wholesome produce for their households and engage in constructive outdoor activities and fellowship. - First United Methodist Church
